Look at the folks from the Emmy-winning show This Old House. In season one, they talked about planers and wood-framed homes and in season 42 they’re bringing on apprentices and talking about handheld CNC routers and smart homes.
Clearly, a large part of their success as a show has been the great cast chemistry and guest features, but an even larger part is the constant innovation and changing with the times. The show has a large social media presence, it even has a TikTok account! I don’t think there’s a soul out there that can say these guys don’t at least try to make change happen. So if you want to go the distance, live a long and diverse life or even have a long fulfilling career…you must change and adapt! (or at least try)
